A Quiet Light

Size: 104 x 74 cm with a 3.5cm frame depth

Medium: Oil on canvas

This original oil painting depicts a snow-covered mountain range rising above an expansive valley. The large, atmospheric sky and distant peaks create a strong sense of space and depth.

Cool blue, grey and white tones contrast with the warmer earthy colours of the valley, while subtle pink and lavender tones add warmth to the changing light. Expressive brushwork and softened edges capture the atmosphere of a mountain environment rather than a specific location.

This piece has been painted on an 100 x 70 cm (39.4 x 27.6 in) stretched canvas and set into a dark, chocolate brown wooden floating frame. The artwork has been varnished for protection and is wired and ready to hang.

The painting will be sent as a framed stretched canvas and carefully packaged in line with established industry standards. It is signed on the front and a Certificate of Authenticity is included with the painting.
