Into the Light

Size: 104 x 74 cm with a 3.5cm frame depth

Medium: Oil on canvas

This original oil painting depicts a secluded rainforest path winding through dense tropical vegetation. Tall palms, banana plants and lush foliage frame the path, leading the eye towards a softly illuminated opening in the forest.

The deep greens and shadowed areas contrast with the pale, filtered light falling through the canopy, while warm golden tones on the path add depth and warmth to the predominantly green palette. The interplay of light and shadow creates a strong sense of atmosphere and draws the viewer into the scene.

The painting combines realistic tropical vegetation with expressive brushwork and softened edges, capturing the changing light and atmosphere of a rainforest environment rather than depicting a specific location.

This piece has been painted on an 100 x 70 cm (39.4 x 27.6 in) stretched canvas and set into a black wooden floating frame. The artwork has been varnished for protection, signed on the front and is wired and ready to hang.

The painting will be sent as a framed stretched canvas and carefully packaged in line with established industry standards. It is signed on the front and a Certificate of Authenticity is included with the painting.
